Christopher Bishop

I am currently conducting dissertation research in Uppsala, Sweden after receiving a generous grant from the American-Scandinavian Foundation.  My project focuses on questions of identity and tradition in the student nations, organizations that date back to the mid-17th century, from historical and ethnographic perspectives.
