Tom DuBois
Department of Scandinavian Studies

Thomas A. DuBois

Tom joined the Department of Scandinavian Studies at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2000.

He holds a Ph.D. in Folklore and Folklife from the University of Pennsylvania and teaches, writes and researches on a variety of Nordic topics, particularly Finnish and Sámi. He currently holds the Birgit Baldwin Chair of Scandinavian Studies and is a member in the Religious Studies Program as well as the Folklore Studies Program.

Tom is currently teaching at the University of Wisconsin's Study Abroad Program in Florence, Italy. To learn about this excellent program, click here
