Yearly those who study Scandinavian studies at the colleges and Universities in the Mid-West gather at the Beaver Creek Reserve in Fall Creek, Wisconsin to meet fellow like-minded people from around the region to discuss Scandinavian studies.

Welcome to the annual Scandinavian Studies Regional Retreat, a retreat for colleges and universities in the upper mid-west teaching Scandinavian Studies.

This years retreat is February 13-15, 2004. The Beaver Creek Reserve is the Eau Claire County Youth Camp found 15 miles from Eau Claire. Near the camp is a nature lodge with hiking trails and skiing possibilities.

During the day there is a program of talks and demostrations about Nordic culture and life with time given for independent activities and meeting people. In the evenings meals are taken together.
