| The Department of Scandinavian Studies offers a few galleries of photos from Scandinavia and events in which the department participates. The department participates
in two retreats per year: A departmental retreat that allows the
faculty and graduate students to get to know each other under more
casual circumstances as well as sharing research projects, and a
regional retreat
including most campuses that teach Scandinavian Studies in the Mid-West. |

This years
Mid-West Regional Retreat is
February 14-16, 2003. The Beaver Creek Reserve is the Eau Claire
County Youth Camp found 15 miles from Eau Claire. Near the camp
is a nature lodge with hiking trails and skiing possibilities. |
