Lit Trans 342:
This is a variable credit course. Students may take the course for 3 or 4 credits. A fourth credit requires a paper.

Scan 429:
This is a variable credit course. Students may take the course for 3 or 4 credits. A fourth credit requires a paper. Students should contact the instructor about receiving some course materials in the Scandinavian languages.

Requirements for all Students:

Participation: Students must attend class. More than two absences may result in a lowering of your grade. High-quality, active participation in class discussions can raise your grade one letter (AB becomes A).

Exams: There will be a mid-terms exam and a final. The final will be a take home to be emailed me by Dec. 22 5:00 PM For information on how I grade, see the web..
