Norwegian 201is a second semester Norwegian course and continues the development of basic skills in speaking, listening, reading and writing. We offer a thematic, communicative approach to language teaching. Classroom focuses on communication and listening as well as introducing basic grammatical concepts. Homework centers on reinforcing vocabulary, reading, grammar exercises and writing. Thematic units covered in Norwegian 102 include family, housing, work, food, free-time and health. Students read a short novel by contemporary Norwegian writer Erlend Loe at the end of the semester.
