In August 1998 I was appointed Visiting Assistant Professor in the Department of Scandinavian Studies at The University of Wisconsin-Madison. I am teaching Danish language classes at the three levels offered, as well as various classes on Scandinavian Literature.

For several years I lived in Bjerringbro, Denmark, where I worked as a Professor of English and Danish at Bjerringbro Junior College. Furthermore, I taught courses in English and American Literature at the University of Aarhus, Denmark, and technical English and Danish at Grundfos Pump Company, Bjerringbro, Denmark.

My main interest is Women's Literature and poetry, in the U.S., England, and Scandinavia. In the years prior to leaving Denmark I also worked with the National Advisors for English in developing and propagating teaching materials which integrate the Internet. My position here offers me the chance to do research in all my fields of interest.

My husband is from Portland, OR, and we have brought part of our family with us. We are very pleased to be in Madison where a multitude of exciting opportunities abound for all.

For more information, please see my Curriculum Vitae or my Homepage.
