Why Study Swedish?

Third Year Swedish

Hot Potatoes - Exercises

By the end of the fifth semester of Swedish, students should be able to read and discuss literary texts, including those from the late 19th Century, with little difficulty. The course has both a language and a content component. Students begin by reading short texts by 20th Century writers and then read Onda sagor by Pär Lagerkivst, Historietter by Hjalmar Söderberg, and some short stories by August Strindberg.
