Her MA, which concentrated on Norwegian women writers, and her BA in Scandinavian Studies and German are from the University of East Anglia in Great Britain. She has been a member of the department since 1997 and teaches a variety of courses on Norwegian language, Scandinavian drama, film, prose modernism, and women writers.
